In 2026, Jen Willis hopes return to Mount Everest to complete what she started—to become the first Australian woman with MS to reach the summit. And your help is needed…
This isn’t just a physical goal. It’s a story about rising, falling, and rising again. It’s about leadership without ego, courage without bravado, and the quiet strength it takes to try again—publicly, purposefully, and wholeheartedly.
This climb isn’t just Jen’s. It’s for every woman who’s been underestimated. For anyone who has had their path interrupted through no fault of their own. And for every organisation ready to stand behind stories that move the world forward.
Why This Climb Matters
Jen is a keynote speaker, mindset mentor, and mother of three. She’s held leadership roles across Australia, the USA, South Korea, and Vietnam. She’s lived off-grid, led schools, raised children on four continents, completed five degrees, and guided thousands of students through outdoor learning experiences.
In 2018, Jen was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Instead of stepping back, she chose to step forward—committing to live with clarity, courage and purpose. That decision led her to the Himalayas in 2023, where she reached 8,000 metres on Everest.
This next climb is not about proving anything. It’s about representing what is possible when women lead with strength, humility, and vision.
What It Really Means to Climb Everest
Climbing Everest is not a symbolic act. It is a brutal, beautiful test of endurance, judgement, and perseverance. Reaching the South Col—an altitude of 8,000 metres—is an achievement few will ever experience. It’s the final camp before the summit. The place where climbers sleep for just a few hours before beginning the most physically and mentally demanding push of their lives.
In 2023, Jen reached that point. But due to unforeseen logistical failures beyond her control, her team could not proceed.
That night, Jen became the highest person asleep in the world—alone in her tent, at 8,000 metres, with the summit within reach but out of her hands.
The return to base camp was steep, but the real descent came after: the emotional work of accepting a moment she didn’t choose. Of carrying grief, disappointment, and questions she hadn’t prepared for.
But from that came something powerful: clarity.
Jen now knows the mountain—its dangers, its demands, its lessons. And she’s going back, not to rewrite the past, but to honour the present. To finish something deeply personal, and share something universally human.

EVEREST 2026: A SUMMIT WORTH SHARING - Sponsor a woman rewriting what’s possible -
This was meant to be the final climb.
In 2025, I was ready to return to Everest—to finish what I started and become the first Australian woman with MS to reach the summit. This video was part of that vision.
But despite everything in place—training, determination, a clear purpose—my key sponsor vanished without a word. The climb had to be postponed.
Now, I’m setting my sights on 2026.
The dream is still alive. The mission is unchanged. And the story is more powerful than ever.
Will you be the one who helps make it happen?
Let’s show the world what it means to rise again.
